Tiffany & Co. Unveils Oceanic Wonder in Latest Blue Book Collection

Tiffany & Co. has revealed its Blue Book 2025 "Sea of Wonder" collection, a breathtaking homage to oceanic beauty and Jean Schlumberger's artistic legacy. We sat down with Victoria Reynolds, the maison's chief gemologist, to explore the extraordinary craftsmanship behind this year's high jewellery masterpieces.

"This collection truly captures the mystery and majesty of the deep," Reynolds shares, her eyes lighting up as she describes the inspiration. "Nathalie Verdeille, our chief artistic officer, channeled Jean Schlumberger's visionary approach to transform oceanic wonders into wearable art."

At the heart of the collection lies meticulous craftsmanship that turns rare gemstones into wearable wonders. Reynolds points to the signature Wave necklace as a prime example – a breathtaking creation featuring green and blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines that mimic ocean depths.

"Every piece is a journey," Reynolds explains, noting how gem cutters spent months perfecting the undulating forms. "The Wave alone required over 200 hours of hand-setting, where artisans positioned each stone to capture light like sunlit waves."

The collection showcases Tiffany's commitment to ethical sourcing, with Reynolds emphasizing the traceable origins of each gem. "We're not just creating jewellery," she reflects. "We're preserving stories – from the hands of miners to the wrists of generations to come."

For Reynolds, the collection represents more than just technical prowess. "There's poetry in these pieces," she muses. "When you wear them, you carry the ocean's magic with you."
