In a move that marks the third chapter of his AFL career, midfielder Will Brodie has found a new home with Port Adelaide. The 27-year-old has traded his Fremantle Dockers jumper for Power colors in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick.

"I'm really excited to get started with Port Adelaide," Brodie shared in a statement. "It's a fresh start and I'm looking forward to contributing to the team's midfield."

The trade sees Fremantle part ways with the versatile player who first entered the league with Gold Coast before joining the Dockers. Port Adelaide secures experienced depth for their 2025 campaign with Brodie bringing valuable versatility across the midfield.

"Will brings a unique skillset that will strengthen our roster," said Port Adelaide's Head of Football. "His experience at multiple clubs will be invaluable as we build toward the finals."

For Fremantle fans, the move represents the end of an era as Brode departs after several seasons with the club. The Dockers will use the sixth-round pick to bolster their future draft prospects.

Trade discussions continue across the league with more player movements expected before the trade period deadline. Fans can track all AFL trades through the official league Trade Hub.
